Throughout time, space exploration has lead to many technological and scientific advances that benefited societies on Earth. The new generation isn’t as interested in space, with only 32% of American Gen-Zs excited about it. Let’s cultivate the wonder for space exploration at an early age at NASA’s new Wonder Camp. Launching this summer in four cities, Wonder Camp is full of fun creative activities for children 3-6 years old.
First the wonder, then the science.
A fun new logo and typeface I designed for this project:
EXPLORE:
At Wonder Camp children are encouraged to explore the world around them by playing and building things, creating toys and games with no predetermined idea in mind.
ARTS & CRAFTs:
Arts and crafts that include construction, new mediums, and problem solving take center stage. And every child gets a pop up coloring book to take home.
MUSIC:
Music activities encourage imagination such as singing games, hand-clapping songs, and counting rhymes.
